The Cleveland-based 6-piece Welshly Arms recently released a new single called “Legendary” via Republic Records. The track is a combination of blues, soul, and rock & roll and it comes complete with a roaring chorus and a sizzling guitar solo. The track has been featured in TV commercials for Hulu, Miller Lite, and on FOX’s Empire.
Comprised of Sam Getz (guitar & vocals) Brett Lindemann (keys), Jimmy Weaver (bass), Mikey Gould (drums) and Bri and Jon Bryant (background vocals), Welshly Arms pay homage to many of their collective musical influences such as Jimi Hendrix, The Temptations, Otis Redding, and Howlin Wolf. They have been active since their debut in 2013 with the EP “Welcome.”
Welshly Arms are currently touring in Europe and have been seeing a breakthrough in Germany where they have already been Top 5 Shazam. They will be back in the states for Gathering showcase in Louisville in June, Milwaukee’s Summerfest in July, then Karoondinha Festival and then Thrival Music Festival in the fall.
