“Set on Fire” by Magic Giant

“Set On Fire” is the new single from the L.A. based trio, Magic Giant.  “One interpretation of the song is taking ownership over the total chaos you may have brought to a relationship,” the band says of the track. “Owning it and moving on. Doesn’t matter who’s to blame if the ship is sinking we’re all going down. We can still save each other.” The band’s forthcoming debut album, recorded from their solar-powered mobile recording studio, is due out this Spring on Washington Square/Concord Music Group.

“One interpretation of the song is taking ownership over the total chaos you may have brought to a relationship,” the band says of the track. “Owning it and moving on. Doesn’t matter who’s to blame if the ship is sinking we’re all going down. We can still save each other.”

“We journeyed out to the Mojave Desert with no expectations and the goal of performing the best damn show of our lives. We ended up a part of an unforgettable experience. When 14,000 people come together for one purpose you can’t help to be moved. When they lit the lanterns the whole festival was connected by the launch and and the music. The whole event had a really great parallel to the theme of ‘Set On Fire’: It doesn’t matter who’s to blame we’re all in this together and letting go is the first step to moving on. Rise Festival is a truly unique experience, we walked away feeling like we just played the second year of Burning Man and got to be on the ground floor of something truly magical

Magic Giant formed in Los Angeles, California in early 2014 and released a self-produced EP.  The indie folk three piece consists of Austin Bisnow (lead vocals, cello, synthesizer, percussion), Zambricki Li (banjo, fiddle, viola, cello, harmonica, mandolin, octave mandolin, acoustic guitar, dobro, lap steel, backing vocals) and Zang (acoustic guitar, cello, bass, percussion, backing vocals).

The band will play multiple music festivals this summer, including LaureLive Festival, Firefly Music Festival, and WayHome Music & Arts.
