When I plotted out my career path at eighteen, I decided I wanted a job that was fun, relaxed, and something I would love doing thirty years down the road. Combine those attributes with my love of music and ability to babble and you get a radio dj. Years later, here I am at 96.9 The Fox and also finishing my degree in Communication at UW-Oshkosh.
Raised by a raging metal-loving father and my wonderful folky-bluegrass mother, my music taste lands somewhere in the middle. I am a jack of all trades when it comes to my music taste which is constantly changing and evolving. Some days you will find me listening to Deftones and System of a Down and other days I am more alternative( Black Keys, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids). I feel like nothing is better than discovering a new band or song and listening to it for hours.
When I am not working, studying, or listening to music, I love going camping or kayaking especially in the fall when the leaves change. As much as I love the opportunities cities provide, its nice to get away. Quick last few things about me is that I love cats, sweaters, and would love one day to be able to play with a baby sloth.
