I was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on September 23, 1961 and have been working in radio since the Reagan administration! I've cracked the mike in Providence, RI (college radio), Fall River, Keene, New Hampshire, Claremont, New Hampshire, Fargo, North Dakota, Minneapolis, Reno, Sacramento, and I arrived at 96.9 The Fox in 2001.
In addition to working on-air from 1-6pm weekdays, I'm also the Program Director
of The Fox, and the Operations Manager for our Cumulus cluster of radio stations here in Appleton-Oshkosh. I put in a full day, but every one of them day flies by. I can honestly say I'm never bored, nor do I ever dread coming into work. I realize that I am quite lucky to enjoy my profession as much as I do! I've always been a music fanatic, and working
in radio affords me access to plenty of music. I also look forward to doing the Question Of The Day each afternoon. I'm always curious about Fox listeners!
I'm a bit of an anomaly in the world of rock radio--I have no tattoos, no piercings, and while I might have a beer or two once in a while, I'm certainly not a hardcore drinker. I pride myself on exercising on a regular basis, and I'm presently taking ballroom dancing lessons at Adagio in Appleton. You may be surprised to learn that I actually read books! I'm currently reading "Blink by Malcom Gladwell. The book has absolutely NOTHING to do with Blink-182!
