The critically acclaimed New York alternative band Misterwives recently released a brand new single entitled “Machine” via Photo Finish/Republic Records. It will be on their highly anticipated second full length album called “Connect The Dots” set for release on May 19th.

About their new anthem, Misterwives says, “‘Machine’ is a rallying cry to stand against a world that suppresses individuality and diversity. This song embodies the movement of celebrating our differences, staying true to ourselves, and always sticking it to the Sith Empire! (insert middle finger emoji)”.

Misterwives was formed in 2012 and it consists of lead singer Mandy Lee, percussionist Etienne Bowler, bass guitarist William Hehir, guitarist Marc Campbell, multi-instrumentalist Jesse Blum, and saxophonist Mike Murphy. In 2015, they emerged as a vibrant and vivacious new voice in pop music with their full-length debut, “Our Own House” featuring their breakout smash “Reflections. They landed at #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart and even garnered an “Artist To Watch” nomination at the mtvU Woodie Awards. Along the way, they impressed audiences everywhere from Hangout Festival, and Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands and sold out multiple headline tours.
